SBI Foundation partners with Khan Academy, launches digital learning platform UpSchool

State Bank Of India The foundation has launched UpSchool, a digital learning program for students of classes 1 to 10, in partnership with Khan Academy, an educational non-profit organization in India. The program will be available in English, Hindi and Kannada languages, with the aim of bridging the learning gap and building a solid foundation in mathematics and reading for their current academic year.

Interested candidates can register for the program for free by visiting the online website of Khan Academy. Each student will receive a digital certificate upon completion of the program.

SBI Chairman Dinesh Khara was present at the event; Vinay M. Tonse, MD & CEO, SBI Funds Management Limited; Officer, SBI Foundation; and Sandeep Bapna, Head of Global Markets, Khan Academy.

In a recent development, SBI Foundation and Khan Academy partnered to localize math learning materials so that students can learn in their preferred language. The partnership originated in Punjab, where the SBI Foundation funded a localization project to create new mathematics lessons.
